Our Programs

GCDN Day Programs offer space for a variety of engagements. GCDN provides a meaningful and engaging environment for clients to be in an environment that gives experiences and provides respite. Eligible clients may receive additional support such as two people transfer, extensive support (toileting, assistance with eating), and management of disruptive behaviour that are threatening to others. The use of restraints and isolation are not permitted. Please note medication will be stored in the fridge or medication cabinet and we ask for clients who need to make medication throughout the day that it is communicated.

Pickering‘s NEW Adult Day program is committed to providing an educational, active adult program that offers equal access and opportunity to learn with support from out certified and caring staff.

GCDN offers recreational programs i.e. crafts, sports, socio-emotional, self-regulation teaching and more. Some of the key programs include employment workshops, games and activities, family access, case conference space and training, meeting space, movie nights and afternoons, arts and crafts, hikes and nature walks and much more

We offer the ability to customize and tailor programming if something specific needs to be addressed with the child or Youth, including aggressive behaviour or the required help interacting with others in a structured environment.

Parent Relief Days - A variety programs available each day to engage youth. Available on weekdays and weekends.

Supervised Visits - GCDN can provide the space and staff required for supervised visitation for families that require court
ordered services.

Pricing will be determined by working with your GCDN advisor.

6hrs to 8rs daily without transportation - $200
6hr to 8hr daily with transportation - $250
The minimum hours are 4 hours and price will vary depending on transportation requirements.
