I graduated from the Law School of the National University of Iran, now known as Shahid Beheshti University. In the early 1990s, I spent two years in Turkey helping refugees as a volunteer translator, using my ability to speak Farsi, Turkish, and English to bridge communication gaps and support people through difficult transitions with United Nation. After arriving in Canada, I volunteered with Downtown Caring in 1993 and 1994, where I had the privilege of helping seniors and learning the value of compassion in community service. My career path has taken many turns — from over 16 years in the food business as a baker and pizza maker, to the past 15 years as a commercial truck driver traveling across the country. Each chapter has taught me something new about resilience, hard work, and the importance of connection. My journey continues to be guided by a belief in kindness, service, and the strength of diverse experiences.
